Pascal & Laurence Amelot warmly welcome you to their new, recently opened guest house in the center of Bergerac, ‘Le Clos d'Argenson’. 

Just steps away from the Office of Tourism, they first opened the door with two one of a kind 540 ft ² suites in May 2012 and shall launch two more in July. 

Conceived for your every pleasure, the 1,600 ft² first floor offers a billiard table, a grand lounge giving onto the historic Place de la Republique, and a dining room and kitchen which both open to a large terrace overlooking a delightful and lush walled garden with a big swimming pool and adjoining ground floor training room.

Only 40 minutes to Sarlat, and Saint Emilion, and 1 hour to Bordeaux and its vineyards. 

5 minutes to Bergerac airport, from destinations Londres, Bristol, Birmingham, Nottingham, Southampon, Exeter, Liverpool, Leeds,  Edimbourg, Bruxelles, Rotterdam and Paris  (Airport pickups and transferts)

This beautiful fin du siècle town house has been lovingly renovated while preserving its’ fine character, the lofty ceilings, glass paneled doors, carved marble chimneys, antique parquet floors and cast iron molded radiators.  Three stories high, its’ rooms radiate off from a magnificent spiral staircase and cupola.  On the ground floor, there are two lovely bedroom suites and a training room; on the first floor, a billiard table and spacious lounge, a library, dining room and kitchen with a terrace overlooking the garden, and, on the second floor are another two exclusive bedroom suites.   Entrance hall        Large lounge     Terrace   In the morning, enjoy your breakfast served either in the dining room or on the terrace. Each suite offers abundant space and charm, with all comforts, including a bedroom, living room and bathroom with walk-in shower.  Each suite has its’ own character and ambience.               Three of the suites are appropriate for two guests, with double or twin beds, and the other one is suitable for four guests. Rates, based upon two guests per night with breakfasts included, start at 120€.
